Why does the dock feature twin magnetic USB-C connectors?
The magnetic twin-connector design is engineered to align with the dual Thunderbolt ports on MacBook Pro and MacBook Air laptops. Utilizing both connections taps into full system bandwidth for dual 4K video output and fast data transfer. The magnetic plugs can also be unclipped into a single USB-C cable for universal use with single-port devices.
