The ALOGIC 10-in-1 Super Dock utilizes twin magnetic USB-C cables to maximize bandwidth. Plugging both magnetic connectors into the side-by-side USB-C/Thunderbolt ports of a MacBook Pro or MacBook Air unlocks native support for dual extended 4K displays at 60Hz. The cables can also be unclipped into a single USB-C connection for universal compatibility with standard single-port laptops.
What maximum display resolution does the Super Dock support on Apple MacBooks and Windows PCs?
When connected using both magnetic USB-C plugs on a MacBook Pro/Air or dual-port Windows laptop, the Super Dock supports dual 4K @ 60Hz displays via its twin HDMI ports. When connected using a single USB-C cable to a standard USB-C laptop, it supports a single 4K @ 60Hz display (or dual displays at 1080p depending on host MST capabilities).
Can the ALOGIC Super Dock charge my connected laptop?
Yes. The dock includes a dedicated USB-C Power Delivery (PD) input port. Connecting your laptop's original USB-C charger or a high-wattage USB-C PD power adapter to the dock enables pass-through Power Delivery charging to your host computer while running all 10 expansion ports.
Will the Super Dock support dual extended monitors on base Apple M1, M2, and M3 MacBooks?
The twin-cable design provides dual extended 4K displays on Intel MacBooks and MacBooks with Pro, Max, or Ultra processors. Base M1, M2, and M3 MacBooks (which natively limit external video output to a single monitor over USB-C) will output to one extended 4K monitor.
