Spectacular to look at even before you even turn them on, Edge Ultrawide Monitors combine the best features of a two screen setup into a single monitor.
Meet your home office’s new centrepiece. Our new 34 and 40” Edge Ultrawide QHD Monitors were designed from the ground up to marry bold design with the robust features your home or office setup needs to empower your productivity.
These include a bright, smooth-scrolling ultrawide display that eliminates the hassle of juggling multiple monitors, with a fully featured USB-C hub that connects your laptop to fast charging, USB-C accessories and even fast, secure internet over Ethernet.
In this write up, we’re going to explore all of these features in greater depth to help you decide if Edge is the right monitor your setup. Before we get into the details, however, let’s spend a moment appreciating the monitor’s daring design.
Ultrawide, but thinner than your iPhone
Perhaps the first monitor that looks just as impressive before you power it up, Edge’s titular thinness never fails to attract attention. Less than 8mm thick, Edge’s massive screen is narrower than an iPhone 16.
The back of the screen is completely free of plastic, matching beautifully tempered black or white glass with 80% recycled space grey or silver aluminium. It’s a timeless style that speaks for itself.
This stunning design makes Edge the perfect choice for any setup where the monitor is exposed from both sides such as in a traditional study or corner office layout. Its style also works nicely on a reception desk, making a powerful first impression to customers and clients.
More space for what matters
Edge’s 21:9 Ultrawide QHD screen has a resolution of 3440x1440 pixels, which is the same as if you took a regular 2K screen (2560x1440 pixels) and just… stretched it out another third, without losing any of the detail.
This gives Edge plenty of space to run two programs side by side, replacing a two monitor setup with just a single screen. Whether you’re copying research from a PDF into a Word doc, keeping track of emails while you work or desperately trying to procrastinate with your group chat, Edge makes multitasking easier.
With its ultrawide resolution, Edge also gives you a better view of any program that makes use of horizontal screen space, such as wide spreadsheets, Gantt timelines in Jira and Monday, or timeline-based creative applications such as video editing in Adobe Premiere or composing music in Ableton Live.
A premium screen for everyday use
Unlike Clarity, which is carefully calibrated for the kind of accurate colour reproduction only designers need, Edge’s panel has been optimised to provide a fantastic experience for the everyday user working at home or in the office.
This includes a typical brightness of 400 nits, considerably higher than most office monitors, which makes videos pop and text clearly readable. Together with Edge’s matte, anti-glare finish, this brightness ensures the screen is always comfortable to use, even under fluorescent office lights or when the midday sun peaks through the window.
Edge monitors also supports a 100Hz refresh rate, resulting in 60% smoother motion than a standard 60Hz screen. While this doesn’t matter too much when you’re looking at a static screen, it does make mouse movement more reliable and scrolling much smoother, which helps to reduce eye strain.
USB-C connects your laptop to everything
Thanks to Edge’s integrated dock, you can plug into everything you need with a single USB-C cable.
No need for a dedicated laptop charger with 90W USB-C Power Delivery, no need for a separate USB hub with Edge’s two USB-C accessory slots, 3.5mm audio connector and an Ethernet port that delivers fast, secure and reliable internet.
So when you sit down to work, you’ll only need to plug one cable into your laptop and you’re ready to go.
Designed to simplify overcomplicated multimonitor setups, Edge Monitors provide plenty of space for multitasking on their bright, smooth ultrawide screens, while also providing all the functionality of a dedicated USB dock, making Edge the perfect centrepiece for your home office.
